School Group Sights "Normie"

On Thursday, May 20th, a 3rd Grade class from Bain Elementary School in Charlotte spotted "Normie" The Lake Norman Monster on a field trip to Lake Norman.

The group was out on the lake on board the Catawba Queen when someone saw something with huge eyes swimming just under the water near the bow of the boat.  The monster was reported as having "stripes on its body and a squiggly tail."

Another reported sighting from the same trip reported seeing "dark stripes and a little squiggly tail under the surface of the water."
